Nominations and Award entries are officially open!
Nominations and Award Entries are officially opened for The Black Rose Excellence in Business Awards.
The Chamber is hosting the first business awards held in the Lithgow region for well over 10 years.
This is an important event for the Lithgow business community and we want the business community to get behind the event and support it to further develop and grow business networks in the region. The stronger the business community is in the region, the more power it will have to advocate for the entire Lithgow region.
The Chamber wants the Awards to become an annual event and one of the most prestigious annual events on the Lithgow regional calendar. They are a recognition and celebration of local business excellence. They provide inspiration to business and set benchmarks for best practice.
The Award categories are
Excellence in Micro Business (2 yrs or more in business)
Excellence in Small Business (2 yrs or more in business)
Excellence in Large Business (2 yrs or more in business)
Outstanding Start Up (less than 2 yrs in business)
Excellence in Resilience (A Black Rose Award Only)
Excellence in Innovation
Outstanding Community Organisation
Best Apprentice /Trainee (A Black Rose Award Only)
Businesses can enter the AwardsHERE, or businesses can nominate their business peers or associates by emailing email@example.com
Winners of Award categories that are aligned with Business NSW categories will automatically be eligible for entry into the Central NSW Business Awards held in 2023.
So that the judging is fair and impartial, judging is being organised by Business NSW and will include a panel of judges who are not from the Lithgow region nor any of the Central NSW LGAs.
The Awards night is being held on 26 November at the Lithgow Workies and will be a gala cocktail dress event with local musicians, performers, local produce and special guest MC, Peter Watson from 2LT.
